Contract: Full-Time Permanent

Location: Office based - Durban South Africa

Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00 – 18:00

Pay: Dependent on experience 

About The Role

This role is responsible for developing and delivering training programmes that equip employees with the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours to perform their roles effectively. This includes onboarding new hires, providing continuous learning, and conducting refresher courses to ensure team members are aligned with company processes and service standards.

Specifically you will: 

  • Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions for new hires and current employees on customer service protocols, product knowledge, systems, and processes.
  • Design and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules. 
  • Develop assessments to evaluate trainee progress and measure the effectiveness of training programmes. 
  • Assess training needs and identify skills gaps, creating strategies to address them.
  • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and employee performance during training and report on these to management. 
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure that employees receive the support needed to meet performance goals.
  • Gather feedback from trainees to continuously improve training programs. 
  • Stay updated on new training techniques, tools, and industry trends to enhance training effectiveness

About You 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a BPO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and supporting a collaborative team environment.
  • Driven by a passion for people development and a desire to achieve team success, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued
  • ETDP SETA would be an advantage
